It’s important to learn one new thing everyday.
Today I learnt that -20 [MINUS TWENTY] is the magic temperature deemed too cold for school children to be outside during recess and lunch.
Yesterday I learnt that if we forget to pack snow pants in the school backpack and its only -18 [MINUS EIGHTEEN] 10 year old legs go numb at recess.
It’s the small things in life that amuse me:
I was less than amused this evening when it occurred to me that instead of standing outside the real Canadian Liquorstore taking a picture – I could have been inside buying something delicious with which to spike my après freeze beverage.
Tonight we decided to curl up with hot chocolate and the 2005 Doctor Who series. This seems like the best way to spend long winter’s nights.
